There used to be two options for authors. Traditional publishing requires a literary agent and years of time. Self-publishing requires a lot of investment on your part up front and a host of skills that most writers don't possess at the outset.

We approach each book like a group project. Every manuscript we take on gets an editor and a marketer to work alongside the author to co-create a polished, beautiful book and marketing strategy.

Instead of investing money in the form of an advance on the publisher's side, we invest our time and talent to create the best possible version of your story and a plan to make sure it gets to your target market.

And then? You get 60% of your royalties (compared to 10-15%), Emrae keeps 20% to help fund our marketing, and your editorial team splits the remaining 20%.

Everyone is investing in the success of the book, so everyone gives it their all.

Some authors want to do it all, and we love that for you. So much so that we want to promote the hell out of it.

Many indie authors wish they could distribute widely (meaning, not participate in Amazon's Kindle Unlimited program) but don't have the funds to support their own website and eBook delivery system.

Emrae is excited to announce our Indie Author Marketplace, where authors can list their eBooks with us and keep 80% of their sales price, paid out on a quarterly basis.

The remaining 20% goes toward the website and hosting fees.

Indie Marketplace participants will also be included in our newsletters that go out to over 2,000 readers and will be promoted across our social channels.
